Your Vietnam adventure begins with your arrival in Hanoi. Your private driver will meet you at the airport, holding a signboard with your name. He will escort you to your accommodation right in the heart of the city, with the fascinating Old Quarter at your fingertips. You can easily explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel after the flight.
Following lunch, take a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride in Tam Coc, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land,” where you’ll be captivated by the stunning views of paddy fields, rivers, caves, and the serene sky.
Eat breakfast at your hotel and check out. A limousine bus takes you through the Vietnamese highlands on a 6-hour drive to Sapa. Once you arrive, transfer to your accommodation. The rest of the day is yours to explore this mountain town however you’d like, whether that’s walking around or just getting settled.
After breakfast, meet your guide around 9:30 am for a 12 km trek through rice terraces and mountainous terrain. You’ll visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages where Hmong families live, then have lunch by the river in Lao Chai. The trek continues to Ta Van village where the Dzay people live. Spend the night at a local Dzay homestay to experience their daily customs and way of life.
Start with breakfast at your homestay, then trek toward Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority. Walk through bamboo forests in Hoang Lien National Park and pass by a waterfall and rattan bridge with time to rest. Lunch happens after that. Following lunch, trek to Su Pan village where a car meets you to drive back to Sapa. Later, the limousine bus takes you back to Hanoi.
